Pay Your Bill

Credit Card and online payments are finally here!

Pay your bill online!

This service is being provided by the City of Genoa through Nebraska.gov using Payport.

There will be a fee to use this convenience charged by Nebraska.gov:

  • Credit Card 2.49% (Discover/Master Card/Visa/American Express)
  • Electronic Check $1.75

We also have a card swiping machine at the office for your convenience.  Fee for this is 2.49%.

Payments can still be made with checks or by pre-authorization as before.

Note:  Starting with the November 1st billing, payment is due the 20th of the month.  Late fees will be assessed on the 21st and disconnect notices sent that day unless it falls on a weekend and then it will be the following Monday.  This has always been the policy but we have been lenient in the past.  The city is getting back to being consistent with our policies.  Please make sure you pay your bill by the 20th.

Please contact the City Office at (402) 993-2330 if you have any questions.

The Pawnee Capital of Nebraska

Genoa, named and established by the Mormons in 1857, has a rich heritage. The Skidi Pawnee lived in this area since before the 1600s and the Mormon trail passed through Genoa in 1857. Visitors are encouraged to learn more about Genoa's heritage by visiting the Genoa Historical Museum.
